Mainstrip is the professional approach for an efficient production plant, based on the twin roll casting technology.
The plant allows to cast and inline roll steel strip in practically any grade at very low energy demands and CO2 values. The thickness range is 4 mm down to 0,5 mm and the width up to 1700 mm. The potential of casting width of up to 3000 mm and above is visible. The production potential is dependent on casting roll diameter, thickness, width and the process parameters and can reach 500’000—1’000’000t / year with a width of up to 1700 mm.
